Tuesday March 21st 2006 Dear Parents, I am delighted to tell you that we managed to raise £2000 on Saturday at our Spring Fayre. Thank you to all those people who put in so much time and effort to make it such a success. It is just a little disappointing that the sale of raffle tickets went so badly. If everyone had sold their two books of tickets at £5 we would have raised at least another thousand pounds. If by any chance you do still have raffle money at home, please send it in. The last day of this term is Friday March 31st. We will be returning on Tuesday April 18th – that is the day after Easter Monday. I’m afraid the day for returning for the children has had to be brought forward a day to comply with Wokingham’s policy for all schools. I do hope this does not inconvenience anyone too much. I do realise that the 18th is down as an in-service day in our calendar. We have just been informed that we have been awarded the new National ICT Mark. This is excellent news since we are one of the first schools in the country to receive the award and is a recognition of the hard work put in by all staff, but especially Al Cobb. We are currently consulting upon and building our School Development Plan for the next year. If there are issues that you would particularly like addressed, please send them into school. Yours sincerely
Ann Young …………………………………………….......................................………………………………………… I would like
to be considered in the next School Development Plan.
